We at Moving PEOPLE would like to reassure you that we are taking every possible measure to ensure the our customers safety, we will be following the relevant advice from local authorities and central government to continuously maintain our control measures to help control the virus.
We want everyone to enjoy their holiday or day trip, after all, you deserve it! Fortunately, we are now able to start getting back to enjoying the things we previously took for granted. To do so we need to apply some common sense and follow some simple but effective additional control measures.
From the 19th July 2021 England moves to Step 4 Restrictions. Face coverings in shops and on public transport will no longer be a legal requirement in England. In Scotland and Wales, face masks will remain compulsory in most public indoor settings in the next phase of easing coronavirus restrictions - which is on July 19 for Scotland and August 7 for Wales.
Whilst we welcome the easing of restrictions, we recognise that COVID-19 will not disappear overnight. For the benefit of all passengers, we continue to invite and encourage customers to wear a face covering or visor whilst on the coach, although this is not compulsory.
As restrictions ease, we are maintaining sensible control measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, including encouraging regular testing, asking customers not to travel if displaying any COVID-19 symptoms and advising the use of face coverings.
Hand sanitising dispensers are fitted to all of our coaches and we actively encourage passengers to use them when boarding and disembarking. The coach will be sanitised daily including touch points such hand and grab rails. The air conditioning system onboard the vehicle will be set to use fresh air only and the re-circulation function will not be used. Whilst at the hotel specific procedures may be in place such as reduced seating in the restaurants, one-way systems and daily housekeeping maybe unavailable or on a request basis only.
Our seating arrangements will be returning to normal capacities and single travellers will no longer be guaranteed a double seat for sole use. However, where capacity permits, we do encourage people to spread out on the coach and utilise any unallocated seating available.
The most effective measures for controlling the virus remain:
Wash your hands or sanitise regularly
Cover your face
Maintain a 2-meter distance or 1 meter with mitigation measures
Self-isolate if you or a member of your household feels unwell and contact NHS119 for further advice.
are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms
are clinically extremely vulnerable and live in an area where additional public health measures mean you have been advised to resume shielding.
have been advised by the NHS test and trace service that you should self-isolate
If you have symptoms of coronavirus, however mild, you should call the NHS Coronavirus Help Line or go online to https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19/ and follow their advice.
