Norfolk is a great all-year holiday, on the mid-east coast of England, boasting over 90 miles of unspoilt coastline, beautiful countryside, the unique Broads National Park, forests and heathland, internationally important nature reserves and picturesque market towns. A fantastic city of heritage, culture and shopping with historical sights and royal connections.

We travel to Norfolk stopping on the way for lunch, arriving at our hotel in time to have a look around and freshen up before our evening meal. We have 2 and a half day excursions which include a guided tour of the city centre, the guide pointing out interesting landmarks before leaving you for free time to enjoy Norwich at leisure. Like any great city its centre is easy to walk around and has a river at its heart. As well as being the most complete medieval city in the UK, it is a city of literature. On one of our full day excursions, we visit Norfolk Lavender, world famous lavender gardens in a beautiful tranquil setting on the West coast of Norfolk. When we arrive, our coach is joined by a local guide who takes us on a tour of the local villages, including West Newton near Sandringham and Castle Rising. We arrive back at Norfolk Lavender with time to look around before we head off to our next destination, this adventure includes a free gift! We enjoy Kings Lynn with free time to explore this vibrant town, brimming with history.

Another full day excursion is spent in the beautiful seaside town of Cromer. A vibrant Norfolk town with a wide variety of cafes and restaurants perched on the very edge of the north Norfolk coast. Cromer is famous for its tasty crabs, wide open beaches, a traditional pier complete with a theatre providing seaside special variety shows and is awash with small local independent shops. As you would expect of a seaside town rich in its fishing heritage, it has a lighthouse and a proud tradition of RNLI service. It has been said that the lifeboat service is the lifeblood of the town. We also visit the Henry Blogg Museum for a self-guided tour, which offers a great insight into the service's history. On Sunday we leave after breakfast, with a stop for lunch.
