Bus & Coach Driver Position

We are an award-winning passenger transport company and are currently the only Bus & Coach Operator in Lancashire to hold the DVSA Earned Recognition Accreditation.  This means you can be reassured we're doing things right!

 

With almost a £3 million pound investment to our fleet in the last 2 years, we are actively seeking to employ enthusiastic drivers for our fleet of buses and coaches on a full time / part time and casual arrangements.

 

We carry out a variety of work including, service work, school contracts, rail replacement, private hire, National Express and coach tours. You must hold a current PCV licence and CPC card and will be operating a mixed fleet from 28 to 100 seat vehicles.

 

Full-time applicants will be expected to be available for work one day every other weekend. In line with industry demands, shifts may vary but will always be inline with WTD and EU Drivers Hours Regulations.

 

Owing to the variety of our work types we can also accommodate applicants with specific needs such as those looking for a more relaxed work life balance on maybe a term time only, split shift or casual arrangement.

 

We have a fantastic and diverse bunch of drivers who are all amazing! We just need a few more likeminded individuals to join our growing business.  Excellent customer service skills, flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential for this role.

£800 - £1000 per week is realistic for competent and willing drivers

Moving People Ltd can help with the funding of the Course training and Test, using local trainer Ben Shaw Ltd, they will put you through your test. Our dedicated inhouse trainer will cover inductions/compliance with regulations/route learning/ticket machine training. You will be trained so you understand fully the ways in which we operate and the standards that are expected from our drivers.
