Vintage Variety Show 2026

Itinerary

We leave Lancashire and head to our hotel in Huddersfield; we stop on the way for some free time in Bury Market where you have time to grab a bite. We have 3 nights of entertainment, our first night begins with ‘The JDs Rockin’ Good Nite’ performance - a four-piece boyband playing hits from the 60s and 70s on guitar and keys. Our next night we enjoy an evening of live entertainment in the form of a ‘Vintage Variety Show’ Comedy numbers, jugglers, singers and dancers all help create moments of joy and laughter. Our final evening comes from ‘The Lipsticks’. This trio of classy ladies will be playing hits from the 1940s and 1950s rounding off our weekend of vintage entertainment in style. We have 2 days out to include a day in the spa town of Harrogate. Make sure to visit the famous Betty’s Tearooms, founded in 1919 by a Swiss confectioner, or the Royal Pump Rooms Museum where you will be able to find out why Charles Dickens said that ‘Harrogate is the queerest place with the strangest people in it, leading the oddest lives’. Another day we enjoy a relaxing morning before making our way to board the Haworth Express for a 1920s-style murder mystery. As we journey through the Yorkshire Dales a bespoke live-action story will unfold. Are you going to be able to solve the case and discover who committed the murder? After breakfast on our final day, we head home, stopping on the way at Summerseat Garden Centre for some free time to stretch your legs.
